RHIT Research Project

Started as a volunteer project with a Mechanical Engineering Professor to develop a desktop model of a transmission and gear-shift mechanism utilizing 3D printing and prototyping, multiple iterations were developed, complexity added, and transformed into a team project in a Mechatronic class to add servo motors, a RPM sensor, and display.  Listed chronically from most recent to early versions, scroll down for a video of the mechatronic system in action.
